Clarifying Gel Cleanser was formulated specifically to target issues related to acne prone/inflammatory skin. The foaming action gives the skin a deep and effective cleanse, without the dry and tight feeling some harsh cleansers can leave behind. The combination of Lavender Hydrosol, Green Tea & Mallow Extracts, and Sage essential oil provide the calming, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties needed to prevent break outs and keep the skin happy.
Key Ingredients
Lavender Hydrosol: Due to it's antiseptic and antibacterial properties, it is a good choice for calming skin irritations and fending off breakouts. Also helps to balance the skins sebum.
Green Tea Extract: Has excellent antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Due to the amount of polyphenols found in gree tea, it works to regenerate damaged skin while also having an astringent and toning effect.
Mallow Extract: The high mucilage content makes it great at soothing irritated and inflammed skin. At the same time it provides moisture helping to keep the skin beautifully supple.
Papaya Extract: A great source of papain, which has exfoliating properties on the skin. Has wound healing and regenerative properties helping to keep the skin blemish free, as well as being high in anti-oxidants, working to keep the skin more firm.
Sage Essential Oil: Has astringent properties which help to loosen dead skin cells and deeply clean dirt & bacteria. Soothes irritated skind and reduces redness.
Use: Apply 3-5 pumps of cleanser to dry skin, then wet hands and massage onto face with circular motions. Rinse well with warm water.
TIP: For a really deep cleanse:
Leave on while in shower or take a few moments to let the cleanser sit as a mask. This gives the botanical actives time to work more deeply.
Gentle and effective enough to cleanse eye makeup as well. Can double cleanse if necessary for heavier makeup.
