Key Ingredients

Rosehip seed oil: Full of omega-6, vitamin E and carotenoids, rosehip oil is especially renowned for its action against skin aging and its healing effects. Helps to moisturize, regenerate and tone the skin.

 

Sea buckthorn: high in Vitamin C(10X more than an orange).  This amazing berry contains 190 bioactive compounds, one of which is palmitooleic acid (omega-7) which is a component of skin lipids and stimulates regenerative processes in the epidermis and wound healing.  And because it also contains high levels of linoleic acid, it helps regulate and and retain moisture levels in the skin.  Also helps to improve overall skintone.

 

Bulbine Frutescens(LIFTONIN®-XPERT ECO):  An intelligent collagen boosting botanical from South Africa that assists in minimizing fine lines and tightening facial contours.

 

Frankincense: often called the anti-aging wonder, sacred frankincese has been used for centuries for its amazing skin tonifying properties. Cleopatra actually used it in combination with geranium!

 

Use

This eye gel is quite rich so you only need to apply a small amount(smaller than a pea) onto delicate area under the eye and not beyond the eye socket(oogkas) towards the lash line. You can also apply at brow bone and then gently tap the gel into the delicate skin completely surrounding the eye.   Eye gels/creams will slowly make their way closer towards the lash line on their own so it is important to apply correctly.   The eye gel is a great step after cleansing and just before using Neroli Hydrating Mist & Essential Face Oil.  You can also apply a bit on the tops of your hands to help lighten age spots as well as use on neck and fine lines around lips.

 

*A completely natural product is subject to small variatons of color within each batch.  Just as in nature, not every harvest yields the exact same botanical every time.  Sea Buckthorn is a lovely bright orange but you will sometimes see a difference in intensity of color from batch to batch.  This can in turn affect the color of Roots Botanica products.  Rest assured you are still getting the same great product every time!
